Please allow me to interrupt my regular posting to bring you a very special introduction. On Thursday, February 19th, at 9:00pm Matthew Patrick Gordon Scott made his very quick entrance into the world. Born nearly two weeks early, our sweet bun-in-the-oven decided he was done baking, and came out weighing 8lbs, 6oz, making him our smallest baby by nearly a pound.
His first 24 hours were spent in the NICU, as he struggled with a small issue in his lung, and after almost a full day we were finally able to hold him. I'm happy to report that he is practically perfect right now, and we are happily adjusting to life as a family of five.
P.S - I'm taking a small blogging break, but will be back to regular posting as soon as I find my way into the kitchen again.
